Boutique stay, 14 rooms, old harbor quarter

Stay a while. The whole point is to slow down.

Roam is a fourteen-room house on a quiet lane two streets back from the water. Linen sheets, a courtyard that catches the morning sun, and a front desk that actually knows the town. Book direct and the coffee is on us.

What a stay feels like

The small things we get right

Rooms made for resting

Fourteen rooms, no two alike. Deep tubs, blackout linen drapes, real books on the shelf, and windows that open to the courtyard or the harbor breeze.

Slow mornings, good coffee

Breakfast is unhurried and local: warm bread from the bakery on the corner, fruit from the Saturday market, and espresso poured until you wave us off.

A town we actually know

Ask the front desk where to eat and you will get a real answer, not a brochure. We will book the table, lend you a bike, and point you down the right lane.

Quiet that stays quiet

Thick walls, a no-events policy, and a courtyard that empties by ten. People come to Roam to read, nap, and forget what day it is. We protect that.

What guests say after they leave

We came for two nights and changed our train to stay four. The courtyard at breakfast, the bike they lent us, the little harbor room. We are already planning the next one.
Elena and Marco Harbor room, anniversary trip
I travel for work constantly and I dread hotels. Roam felt like staying at the home of a very tasteful friend who happens to make excellent coffee.
Daniel Osei Returning guest, loft suite
They booked us the best dinner of the trip at a place we never would have found, then had a nightcap waiting when we got back. That is the whole job, done right.
The Whitfields Courtyard room, family stay

The good rooms go first. Book direct.

Reserve straight with us for the lowest rate, free breakfast, and a real person on the other end of the line. Tell us when you are coming and we will take it from there.
